ABOUT MENTORING CLUB
Our club is associated with Franklin County Royal Family KIDS Camp #103. Our club and mentor program is a great way to connect with our campers throughout the year.
Club consists of a monthly meeting where mentors and their mentees gather with club staff to have a mini “camp” experience. This consists of breakfast, an activity, songs, games, a faith-based curriculum, and puppet skit. Club meets October thru June. There is also a mentor component where mentors meet one-on-one with their child outside of club for a minimum of 4 hours.
The children who attend camp are eligible to be matched with a mentor. A person must have attended camp in some capacity to be eligible to be a mentor. It is not a requirement for club staff members to attend Camp. Club staff volunteer to help with all of the components mentioned above.
